a little of what we’ve been up to!

9 months WHAT

It is exactly nine months since Mason was born! I can’t believe it!
What a funny little joy we never knew we couldn’t live without!
He has both top and bottom teeth and sometimes he even sleeps at night.

He is always crawling all over the place – he is SO fast now – and getting into trouble.

He enjoys all of his baby books and watching videos of himself on my phone.

He loves pulling hair, music, snuggling with his parents, and he loves when friends and family come over to see him and play with him.

When he wants our attention he whines right through his nose.

When he is happy he bounces up and down and moves his hands around in circles.

Happy 9 Month Anniversary Little One

Snitches get stiches, but so do babies.

Two days ago Mason face planted on something that was sharp enough to puncture his cheek.

Not all the way through, there was a lot of blood though and I was terrified.

Luckily Nurse Melissa was right down the street and whisked us away to the hospital for 4 quick stitches.

Mason is a brave little toaster.
Through the entire ordeal he cried twice.

I think I may have been crying a bit more.

How scary, we now have foam pads on every sharp table corner.

Oh hello.

What’s new…?
Thom is back in school and working at one of my favorite restaurants! Pago!
And I’m back to 24 hour mommy.
Whew! Busy busy busy house.

The heat is on.
No literally – on Friday we got the heat working in our house. For the first time all winter.

Also someone got two bottom teeth last week
And it’s not me and it’s not Thom.
We found out when Mason bit Thom’s finger and Thom exclaimed “You have teeth!”

Also he is crawling like crazy and always trying to walk.

Melissa is moving here in days ! We are so happy and excited !

The sleepiest morning.

I don’t think Mason and I have ever enjoyed such an amazing night of sleep. Or morning for that matter!
Anyway I couldn’t be happier right now since Mason has been refusing to sleep this past week.
But that hasn’t kept us from doing all the fun stuff!
Liberty Park is such a wonderful place, and Tracy Aviary only costs a dollar on Wednesdays from November through March. …So I guess you know where we’ll be every Wednesday until March.

Thanksgiving day was great – not looking forward to the fallout from all the shopping that transpired after the feasts though. But I guess it means I have a job so WHATEVS

Sarah – I wrote you a small letter today so stop drowning in your own tears. I’m about to take a walk with the fam to the ol’ post office to drop it off. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Annie – I can’t wait til you come to utah before you move to TX.*Actually the place where all my ex-es live. Never thought about that before but it is now the most hilarious thing about me. 

It’s official. Mason loves his jumper more than anything else in his life. Next comes – flirting with himself in the mirror, trying to grab and eat everyone else’s non-baby food, and pulling hair and trying to eat it.

I miss my family. All of them. I wish I at least could have spent tgivz with shannie and anony but they may or may not have other arrangements. I dont know because I didnt ask.

I wanted to watch White Christmas yesterday but Lizzy’s internet is on the outs. So instead we watched Nicholas Nickleby and Spirited Away. Both were great and there’s nothing like a little Charles Dickens to really get in the holiday spirit. 

Mother – have you seen that film? Little Dorrit’s dad is in it! So exciting!
